St. Bernard School Tuition Assistance Policy
St. Bernard School believes that each child is a special gift from our loving God and will make every effort to provide a Catholic education at St. Bernard School in the case of financial hardships. With that goal in mind, the St. Bernard School Board, with the approval of Father Richard Ricard, has adapted a tuition assistance policy to insure that the limited assistance funds benefits those most in need.
Eligibility Requirements
Eligible families must complete the confidential Student Aid Form from PSAS (Private School Aid Service).
Eligible families must demonstrate financial hardship and submit certain financial information on their Student Aid Form.
Eligible families must pledge service time for various school activities and/or fundraisers.
Application Process
All applications for St. Bernard School tuition assistance must be mailed to PSAS on an annual basis.
Upon receipt of the result of the application from PSAS, the Principal, along with an Independent Review Committee will decide on the level of financial assistance for each family. The Independent Review Committee shall consist of members of the St. Bernard School Board.
Eligible families will be notified by mail of the amount of assistance given to them.
